Terms of Service

By accessing or using Heedly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Heedly is a career coach for lawyers and consultants, with burnout prevention, a weekly planner and a career diary. With Adrian, an AI coach, it helps you build a career plan and turn it into concrete steps in your workday. It sees that workday either through its weekly planner, which plans your week around your real capacity, or, if you keep your own planner, through a short evening diary. It tracks your energy and workload through short check-ins or the diary and calculates a burnout score. The Service is provided "as is" and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.

The following features use artificial intelligence (AI/LLM) technology:

• Adrian, your coach: answers your messages, suggests concrete steps toward your career plan and asks how they went, and writes to you on his own initiative, based on your planner, check-ins, diary, career plan and notes (notes only when you ask).
• Weekly reports: a summary of your week's planning and check-ins.
• Career plan and career reports: your roadmap, built from your answers (and an imported CV or LinkedIn profile, if you choose), and regular reports on how your work connects to it.
• Achievement suggestions: proposals for wins worth recording, drawn from your finished work.
• Voice: dictation, voice commands and Adrian's spoken replies.
• Career diary: transcribes what you say, ticks off the evening questions as you answer them and reads your day from the entry: energy, stress, hours, the day's challenge, wins and skills.

Exactly which data each feature sends is described in the privacy policy, section 3. The data is sent, via Heedly's own servers, to OpenAI, our AI subprocessor. AI features require your explicit consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time in Settings; declining leaves the planner, check-ins and burnout score fully usable.

Connecting a calendar (Google or Microsoft) is optional. Heedly reads your events so the planner can show time you have already committed, and writes an event only when you explicitly ask it to on a specific task. See the privacy policy, section 3b.

You must create an account to use Heedly. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Heedly is a paid subscription with a 14-day free trial.

Free trial: an account created on our website includes every feature free for 14 days, counted from sign-up (the confirmation of your email address). No payment details are needed for the trial, and it does not turn into a paid subscription by itself. If it ends without a subscription, your account and everything in it stay saved and visible, but cannot be changed or used with the AI features until you choose a plan. During the trial, Adrian answers up to 20 messages a day, the other AI features have a daily limit, and the career roadmap can be generated up to 4 times. If you subscribe on our website during the trial, the first payment is taken on the day the trial would have ended (in its last two days, at once). One free trial per person.

In the iOS app, a free trial, where offered, is Apple's introductory offer on the subscription: Apple shows its length and the price that follows before you confirm, and the subscription renews automatically after it unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Where you subscribe decides who bills you.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancelling depends on where you subscribed.

Subscribed on our website: cancel at any time from the billing portal, with no notice period. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed.

Subscribed in the iOS app: cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your device. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you — only Apple can — and it keeps renewing until you do, including after you delete your Heedly account.

• EU right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Because access is granted immediately, you expressly consent to the service beginning at once and acknowledge that your withdrawal right ends once it has been fully performed.

• Money-back guarantee: in addition to the statutory right, we refund your first payment in full if you email us within 4 weeks of that payment. No conditions and no explanation required. The refund closes the subscription. It applies to a first subscription period only, once per person, and not to renewals. It covers payments we take ourselves — that is, subscriptions bought on our website. For a subscription bought through the App Store we do not receive or hold the payment and cannot refund it; Apple handles those, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or copy the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable or overburden it
• Use the AI features to process data of persons other than yourself

Heedly provides informational tools and wellness scoring. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnoses, and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional.

Career development reports are generated by AI and are intended as supportive guidance only. They do not constitute professional career counselling or employment advice. Heedly does not guarantee that following report recommendations will result in career advancement.

All content, features and functionality of Heedly are owned by Clemens Fischer. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clemens Fischer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated reports or recommendations.

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you use Heedly as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.

For disputes with business customers, the courts of Valencia, Spain, have jurisdiction. As a consumer you may also bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you live, and you can only be sued there.

We reserve the right to update these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
